Mr. Mogin
heads the BTI Group mergers and acquisitions team. With over 25 years experience in mergers and acquisitions of privately owned businesses, he has managed several hundred transactions. He specializes in manufacturing,
wholesale/distribution, and business-to-business service companies, and has provided ancillary consulting services to M&A clients including business plan development, strategic and financial planning and implementation,
organizational restructuring, and recruiting key personnel.
Mike is qualified as an expert witness in business transactions and valuation in California Superior Court. He previously held management positions in finance and administration, strategic planning,
mergers and acquisitions, and turnarounds at Revlon, Pfizer, and CBS, and spent several years in economic, financial, and corporate development consulting. He has founded two small businesses.
He was a founding member of the California Association of Business Brokers and has served as Secretary,
Director, and chairman of several committees. He has been a Director of the Woodside School Foundation and
Chairman of its Policy and Planning Committee and a member of the Advisory Board of Maverse, Inc.
Mike received a BA in economics from Johns Hopkins University and has done graduate work in finance at New York
University.
