Mr. Carpenter has represented sellers and buyers of businesses since 1985, completing over 350 transactions. He has represented publicly traded companies including Textron (NYSE: TXT) and AMR (formerly NYSE: AMR until acquired by Laidlaw) in divesting divisions. Private equity groups have benefited from Mr. Carpenter’s representation in sourcing and acquiring manufacturing companies in a highly competitive economy.
Greg specializes in manufacturing and distribution with an emphasis on contract manufacturing for electronics. He provides services for business appraisals, seller representation, buyer representation, retained searches and litigation support in business valuation disputes. He is a fee arbitrator non-attorney member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association.
He has been a member of the California Association of Business Brokers since shortly after it’s founding, and has served three terms on the Board of Directors and over ten years on the Forms Committee. He has been a speaker at annual CABB Education Conferences and Conference Chairman. He is a current member of the International Business Brokers Association and a past member of M&A Source.
Greg holds an MBA from the University of Santa Clara, a BA in business management from the University of LaVerne, and an AA in real estate from DeAnza College.
