Mr. Estes is the Managing Partner of the BTI Group's Northern California operations.
His experience includes five years with a public accounting firm (Arthur Andersen & Co.), eight years as the Chief Financial Officer of a $1.1 billion industrial chemical distribution company (Van Waters & Rogers), and four years as the Chief Operating Officer of a $30 million software development company (Software Alliance). He left corporate management in 1993 to acquire his first company and from 1993 through early 2000, successfully acquired, ran and sold three companies.
He joined the BTI Group in 2000 to focus exclusively in helping middle-market clients sell and acquire businesses. Mr. Estes is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (Washington and California).
Mr. Estes has been actively involved in assisting clients in the acquisition and sale of companies in a variety of capacities for over thirty years.
