Mr.
Cohen has been a top producer at BTI Group since 2002. He has completed dozens of transactions involving individuals, private equity groups, and public companies. He specializes in business-to-business service companies, renewable energy providers, and companies in the import-distribution industry. Recently, he has been extremely successful representing parties in the healthcare staffing, legal services, and solar photovoltaic industries.
Prior to joining, BTI Group, Matt spent 12 years in Silicon Valley with several telecommunications software companies selling large scale telco and internet infrastructure software. He held various senior sales
positions and managed a global book of business consisting of the top public telecoms, internet service providers, and web hosting companies
He is active in the UC Davis Alumni Association, both his children’s grade school boards, and a major international charity. He is a member of the California Business Brokers Association (CABB)
and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), and BNI International, and has been a guest speaker at Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE).
Matt received a BA in International Relations
from UC Davis and an MBA from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
